When Microsoft changed CEO, Microsoft also changed its focus on how Windows works on privately used PC´s.

Secondly, IF THE USER FOR SOME REASON CAN NOT SIGN INTO THE COMPUTER, THERE ARE NO "BACKUP ADMIN-ACCOUNT TO USE TO CORRECT ANY FAULTS! (= Easier for the bad guys to harm your PC but if YOU are locked out, you have no way to fix the issue!)

Using a Microsoft account is not something wrong in itself. This is nothing abnormal or incorrect at all, but a natural development as this makes the use of the computer more efficient as you get access to both APPS (in addition to the regular software you installed) but also practical features such as automatic backup to OneDrive, and to the digital notebook OneNote, and that you can make video calls via skype, all this in addition to the basic Emailing. Everything pretty much exactly like what you do in your phones and your tablets etc.
That you will do the same in your computer, as you already do in your mobilephone and in your tablets is nothing strange. Since you most often use an account connected to the manufacturer to sign in!

The error that Microsoft makes with Windows (and in practice ALWAYS has done with Windows) is HOW private users ARE FORCED into this. Microsoft has never been able to create an installation process (so-called "Setup") of Windows that HELPS the users of privately owed PC´s to install Windows as Windows is supposed to be installed and always has been CREATED to be installed!

The most unfortunately thing in Microsoft/Windows is that in privately owned PC´s there is not way for the user to avoid using the PC´s only Administrators account! Thus making the PC and its users to be more at risk of malware and hacking etc. And not having a backup administrators account if you can not sign into your own PC is most troublesome!

Now please compare with eg. Linux on PC (and possilby even Mac).. Both PC and Mac basically have a security model that is more similar to that of Windows than it is different! But unlike Windows, the installation process of at least Linux ensures that the computer is installed correctly, and that every person who uses the computer always uses it in such a way that most handling problems and the like are avoided. Therefore, Linux on PC (and possibly even Mac) are perceived as more trouble-free, more secure and more “ease of use”.

Linux on Pc uses a separate ROOT account (Their equivalent of Windows Administrator account) to which the owner is allowed to assign a PASSWORD, while the user's has it´s own useraccount. If you can not sign in with your useraccount you can try to sign in as ROOT-account.

All 3 systems (Linux on PC, Mac and Windows) basically work in very similar ways.
They have a "sphere of rights" for the system that ensures that each program gets its share of processor, memory, etc.
They have a "sphere of rights" for the administrator, whose sphere has rights to, for example, install programs and change critical system settings.

And finally, they all have a "sphere of rights" for the user, who has rights to use all installed software, etc.
Each "sphere" is separated from the others.

The difference is that in Linux on PC have an installation process that automatically creates a ROOT account (equivalent to Windows Administrator account) for which the owner is allowed to enter a password. And AUTOMATICALLY builds up a proper user account for the owner/user. (This is what CREATES security, stability and makes the computer more "trouble-free", and since windows never have done this automatically for privately owned PC´s, Windows has often failed in the security & stability area!)

Microsoft has NEVER been able to create such a CORRECT, installation process like linux does..
The 1st user account created in Windows has always been assigned administrator rights. Thus, your user's "sphere of rithts" is permeated with the "administrator sphere", which in turn makes it much easier to disrupt the security of the "System sphere" negatively. And if you run upon upon a virus or a Trojan, for example, it inherits your "administrator sphere" and then it will use your rights to infuse into system processes etc..

Microsoft has never been able to pre-create this administrative account so that the owner (you), just like in linux on PC, mailny gives this account itss own password, and then through the administrator account automatically create your user account with the correct rights, which you can name and assign a password..
